Our terrace will be rebuilt from April 11 until the end of June. After countless steps on the 50-year-old pavement, it will now be replaced and the wall will be renewed. In addition, we use this moment to make 8 earth probe drillings, because in the future our house shall be supplied from 85% sustainable energy. The necessary electricity for the heat pumps comes from our solar panels or from certified electricity from hydropower. The advantages of geothermal energy are many: it is a climate-friendly energy, consisting of local resource and it is available all year round. As part of the hotel group Responsible Hotels of Switzerland and out of conviction, we always strive to work within our means for climate protection.

With the reconstruction around the terrace, the RooBar will also be given a new coat of paint. A new roof as well as a more generous modern interior is planned.

You can also look forward to various changes on the terrace. New furniture, a play corner for children, a flexible stage - but we don't want to reveal more just yet 😉 This much can be said: The terrace will have a whole new summer look from the beginning of July!

The hotel and restaurant will also be closed for a month from April 11 to May 11. Here we use the quieter time to do some renovations inside. In the basement there is a technical room and new checkrooms and rooms for the employees.

During this entire period, work will be carried out on weekdays from 8.00 - 17.00. We apologize in advance for any disruption and thank you for your understanding.
