Hauser construction report 2025
55 years after Robert Obrist added a storey to the Hauser, the building has been given another comprehensive makeover. The façade was renovated, the concrete pillars carefully checked and 98 new, triple-glazed hotel windowswere installed. These not only provide sound insulation, but also optimum thermal insulation. Theiconic red paintwork was renewed with great attention to detail.
After 70 years, the Hauser presents itself in a fresh look - characterized by its origins, consistent further development and the firm will to remain a place of encounters, enjoyment and hospitality in the future.
Not only the façade, but also the interior of the building has been rejuvenated. Our tearoom has been given a modern ambience thanks to new curtains and an atmospheric lighting concept. On the second floor, the former meeting room at reception has been transformed into a stylish library and an inspiring co-working space.
Investments were also made in the technical area: New heat pumps and modern heat storage tanks were installed in the basement.
As a result, the company consumes even less heating oil. We have taken a big step towards our goal of no longer burning fossil fuels.
In addition to these major renovations, we have implemented numerous small optimizations that make the Hauser even more comfortable. Look forward to the new, fresh look of our hotel. The renovated façade will be unveiled on November 28 - just in time for the start of our 70th winter season in St. Moritz.
